I tend to agree with you, but i still think the MJ version is good. I think it'd be worse in anyone else's hands such as madonna, cher, or jewel. That would be a travesty.

John Is Saying Shoot me at the very beginning of the song. Listen closely and you can hear it. Its actually true that he said that in the Recoding. The Guy that recorded the song originally told some one who asked he "what was that John saying at the begining and threw out most of the song Come Together" he responded "Shoot Me. John was Saying Shoot me"

Great video, they are not the Beatles, this video is from John Lennon era, and parts of the other integrants with the original song from the album, what a best job, very good, Beatles for ever
