Couldn't agree with you more. The lyrical genius of Lennon but with the frustrated/desperate tones of Marianne Faithful.Damn, she still sounds marvelous....looks great too. YOU GO GIRL!!!

Man... i'm incredibly sorry to say that i have NEVER heard Marianne faithfull before (sorry guys :P) and all i expected from this was another teenage wannabe voice, but man when she started singing...!!!! all that feeling... amazing... thank you scwack for uploading this!

I tip my hat to you scwack. Thank you for sharing this incredible video. I can't tell you how many times over how many years I've turned to this song for comfort. The lines "first you must learn how to smile as you kill.....if you want to live like the folks on the hill" always cinch it for me. I can't kill I say proudly. AWESOME VIDEO!
